Asbestos in the loo – who knew?

We were contacted by a customer today to inspect his new home after he expected that some of the ceilings contained asbestos. Whilst inspecting the building, our Surveyor noticed an old black Shires toilet cistern in the outside WC. The Surveyor’s experienced told him that this cistern was manufactured using Amosite, an asbestos mineral. The customer had absolutely no idea that there was asbestos hidden in the room.
